St. William Parish has an active Youth Ministry program primarily for children in elementary school and junior high. Children involved in the program enjoy social activities while learning about stewardship of the parish and the environment.
Recently members participated in their second annual Walk for Hunger to benefit our parish’s Loaves and Fishes Food Closet. The fundraiser, which raised over $1,200, was featured in the Warwick Beacon.
The Youth Ministry also holds Family Bingo nights and movie nights and organizes an annual trip to La Salette at Christmas time.
For two years the youth have learned about the environment and energy through a workshop presented by volunteers from the NEED (National Energy Education Development) program.
